MOSCOW, Nov 30 (PRIME) -- The state of winter crops in Russia is worse than over the five last years, Acting Director of Hydrometcenter Dmitry Kiktyov told PRIME in an interview published on Friday.
“The state of winter crops in Russia at large is somewhat worse than last year and worse than on average in the last five years. Nevertheless, there is no dramatic shortfall,” Kiktyov said.
He also said that the estimate includes the lack of moisture in summer and autumn 2018 in the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts.
